Yes, yes, I know. Everyone just loves reading through a page of Terms and Conditions. Still, I've tried to keep them concise and clear so you know what you're signing up to:

1. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they own the supplied reference image or have the appropriate consent of the image owner. Likewise, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that either they are the owner of the vehicle in the reference image or that they have the appropriate consent of the vehicle owner.

2. drawmycar.co.uk provides the digital images of the illustrations to the customer in high resolution .png or .jpg format. drawmycar.co.uk always retains the original vector illustration file and the copyright of this file unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing with drawmycar.co.uk. If the customer requires ownership of the vector illustration and copyright an additional fee shall be negotiated in advance of providing payment and finalising the order.

3. Once the completed image(s) have been provided, these will be considered as accepted by the customer unless the customer contacts drawmycar.co.uk to confirm otherwise within fourteen(14) days of receipt.

4. Once accepted by the customer, any requested changes or alterations to the supplied illustrations will incur an additional fee which will vary according to the extent of the requested changes/alterations.

5. It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain any copyright or licence that might be needed to produce the vector illustration. drawmycar.co.uk is responsible for obtaining the copyright for any material it supplies.

6. drawmycar.co.uk may use the original reference image and a sample image of the finished illustration provided to the customer on its website and social media platforms for promotional purposes. If the customer requires the reference image and finished illustration images to not be shared publicly then this may be accommodated but may incur an additional fee which shall be negotiated and must be agreed in advance of providing payment and finalising the order. If the customer would like the number plate or other distinguishing features removed from the reference image and sample illustration image before these are shared publicly then this will be accommodated where requested in advance of providing payment and finalising the order.

7. Once complete, drawmycar.co.uk retains the right to further adapt the vector illustration (using different vehicle colours, text and backgrounds) and may sell these adapted images to other customers.

8. The customer is permitted to alter and adapt the illustration images purchased and may use these images for advertising or promotional purposes. The customer is not permitted to directly or indirectly sell the purchased illustration images or adaptations of these images for their own profit unless this has been expressly agreed in writing with drawmycar.co.uk.

9. If returning a physical print or other physical product, the customer is liable for any postage costs

10. Once an order has been placed, drawmycar.co.uk will provide an estimated date for completion of the work but does not guarantee completion by this date. If the customer has a specific deadline that must be met, this deadline must be agreed in writing with drawmycar.co.uk in advance of providing payment and the order being finalised.

11. Representation of specific makes and models of vehicle on drawmycar.co.uk does not represent affiliation or endorsement of drawmycar.co.uk by the manufacturer of that vehicle. The customer shall not use any illustration supplied by drawmycar.co.uk to explicitly or implicitly suggest affiliation with or endorsement by the manufacturer unless the customer has agreed as such directly with the manufacturer.

12. drawmycar.co.uk commits to working reasonably with the customer to resolve any quality issues with either the physical or digital illustrations supplied but once an order is placed and the work has commenced, the payment is non-refundable. This is consistent with the Consumer Contracts Regulations on the right to cancel due to the personalised nature of the product.

13. On any contribution for magazine or book use, drawmycar.co.uk shall receive credit in print.

14. The customer agrees that it shall not hold drawmycar.co.uk liable for any incidental or consequential damages that arise from the illustrator's failure to perform any aspect of the commission in a timely manner, regardless of whether such failure was caused by intentional or negligent acts or omissions of the illustrator or a third party.

15. By submitting an order with drawmycar.co.uk the customer accepts these general terms and conditions as binding.
